Dubai Set to Build the World’s Second Tallest Tower in Sheikh Zayed Road

Following Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower, now Dubai is all set to construct the second-tallest tower in Sheikh Zayed Road. 

The city is gearing up to embark on an awe-inspiring project – the construction of the world's second-tallest tower along the prestigious Sheikh Zayed Road. With plans already in motion, the emirate is set to redefine its skyline and leave an indelible mark on the world of skyscrapers. This new skyscraper pushes the 632-meter Shanghai Tower into third place but not surpasses the 828-meter-high Burj Khalifa, saying this will be the second tallest tower in the world. 

Farhad Azizi, CEO of Dubai-based Azizi Developments, officially unveiled the visionary project. Designed to soar to breathtaking heights, the tower's design remains shrouded in secrecy, adding to this iconic venture's excitement and anticipation. Once completed, the tower is expected to magnetize tourists, investors, and businesses, further cementing Dubai's status as a global hub for commerce and tourism.

The construction of the new skyscraper has been confirmed in a recent tweet by the CEO of Azizi Developments stating, “It’s official: We are building what will be the second-tallest building in the world.”

Substantiating the announcement, he also added, “My father, Mirwais Azizi (Founder of Azizi Group and Azizi Developments) was recently invited to appear on BBC Persia, where he revealed our plans to build a new tower in Dubai which will share the skies with Burj Khalifa and other skyscrapers in the city.” 

While many of Dubai's impressive skyscrapers are along the illustrious Sheikh Zayed Road, officials have yet to finalize the exact spot for the second-tallest tower. Reports suggest multiple locations are being considered, each offering unique advantages and challenges.
